“I don’t know why, but when the romper trend popped up several years ago I was on board, no questions asked.
An outfit in one piece (replacing a dress) AND the function and comfort of shorts rolled into one? Sign me up. It’s also one of those looks that even as it starts to fade, I’m going to hold on tight as it slips through my fingers. I admit it.
A word of advice when purchasing pieces for your wardrobe that are obviously trends: don’t over commit or over invest. I have several rompers but none of them broke the bank. That way saying goodbye isn’t quite as painful.”

The always stylin’ Miss Elish Phares was donning the CUTEST holiday-ish look a week or two ago, so of course I just had to take her picture! (What else is new? I’m obsessed with her style!) Her shiny blazer, the infamous Celine Me Alone tee, and some skinnies were the most perfect work AND holiday appropriate look ever!

“I hope I’m not too early filtering in holiday looks, but the season fast approacheth!
So last year I got a fun little tulip skirt in this bold, metallic print for a work party. I loved the coordinating blazer, but sometimes a girl’s gotta be fiscally responsible. I kept my eye on that blazer until it went on sale and here we are a year later, finally a complete suit.
All good things come to those who wait, right? Good thing I still like it! I think this sparkly holiday blazer is really going to come in handy.
You can wear it with something as simple as a T-shirt, like I did, or go all out with a matching skirt, bold lip, or leather pants. It is so festive and instantly sets the tone for a good time!”

Elish was looking so totally Mississippi Fall appropriate at work not too long ago, so we were able to sneak away for a quick little photo sesh outside! I love this look, and I think the way she’s styled these shorts is SO cute, very different, and totally work appropriate all at the same time!
